Opera 10 Alpha has been released.  I don't normally install Alpha or Beta software, but I decided to install this in a separate directory to check it out.  So far, it is running smoothly, which I wouldn't normally expect from Alpha software.  What's nice about Opera 10, in addition to all of it's other great offerings and high security, is an automatic spellchecker.  Opera underlines all misspelled words for you now:

You can download and install Opera 10 from this link.  I recommend installing it separately from your current Opera install though just in case...

Firefox and Seamonkey already do that.  So does Thunderbird

Since I don't use Opera very much anyway I think I'll just wait a bit for the final release.

Thunderbird isn't a browser.  It is an email client, which would be terribly lacking if it didn't automatically come with a spell checker...

Firefox and Seamonkey may already have had the spell checker in the past, but you are giving up security to use them.  And they don't include a ton of other nice and useful features that Opera includes by default without installing extra add-ons, if they are available...

So if Opera had one previously found and corrected vulnerability, is that as bad as all those others found in IE and Firefox in the past?  I know with the Opera developers, a vulnerability is usually corrected within a few days after being discovered.  The current official Opera release is 9.63.  This is what the link said about the Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability found in Opera that you linked to:
Vulnerable Systems:
* Opera version 9.60 and prior
So if you are keeping your software up to date, this Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability is not a concern to you...
