Someone was sent two songs and was told it was person X singing them. I just played them on mine and they came up with album details that weren't person X but two different singers. Its has person X's name in the contributing artist bit - does that mean he has something to do with the recording or is it just how the song was named when it was sent?
I'm not sure if she's been duped or she is trying to dupe us  |

I know next to nothing about how media players sort/display the info for the recording. The only suggestion I can come up with is to confront the sender with the info you'll have gathered via the media player and ask her to explain it. There may a good explanation and if not she may be as surprised as you are.

Yeah I was going to but then I thought I'd better check that there wasn't a preoper reason for it and I'd look stupid

Sean is the guy she said was singing, who knows maybe he told her it was him, she may be as clueless as us

You can change the author, copyright, year tags etc by right clicking on the mp3 > go to properties >and change the tag or summary fields depending on which one you use.

Ahh thanks! So it can be done. I think we came to the conclusion that she didn't know about it and isn't in contact with the person anyway. |
