I have not tried this program yet so don't know how good it is or isn't. It sounds great. If anyone here tries it let the rest of us know how you like it.

Me too Katy and HOLY COW! I was floored with what it found. I thought I was on top of everything. This looked like it would delete everything on my machine. I looked everything over pretty good, still wasn't sure, closed my eyes and got rid of everything. LOL I'm still here and everything seems to be working just fine. All those unprotected items is what got me, all kinds of hijackers and malware you can pick up on the Net, I really thought Spyware Blaster pretty much had everything blocked but I guess not.

| RB, don't know if this is the culprit or not but since I used it this AM, I was having odd problems jump up. I finally did system restore and everything seems to be OK now... |

Thanks Katy. Thank goodness for System Restore on XP. Did you try the restore feature on Advanced WindowCare?
I don't know what could have caused a problem unless maybe the Registry clearner. I'm kinda leery of them anyway. I think I will uncheck that definitely next time. Bob Proffitt over at Computer Help doesn't hold much truck with ANY registery cleaners. He sas they aren't needed at all on the newer systems.
Guess we need to be a little selective in what we choose. I defintely want to use that security option. I'll check more carefully to see what the others are removing before I hit OK.
Thanks for posting back, Katy, with the heads up.
I ran the updater, Nightrider and it did have one. I didn't even realize it was there. Thanks.

No, I didn't find the updater until after I had run it once. Then I started poking around all the other options and found it. I think they should make the updater a bit more apparent because I'm sure many will never use it as it is now...
