I am still plodding aroiund trying to figure why my PC won't play the video part of the memorial video. I have adjusted the security settings in IE6, rolled back my WMP to version 10 ans have tried to conform my PC to exactly as my Niece Penny's is because we have the same software and hers will play it but mine won't. The latest suggestion is about codecs may be the problem. A guy posted the following URL and comments but I mhave no idea of what he is talking about.

I know about as much as you do about codec, Bobby. However, my WMP couldn't play movies a while back, I think it was when I uninstalled Nero for a few days, anyway I found a site with a codec download for free, it was supposed to work with just able everything. And it did work, WMP stated playing and showing! LOL

Anyway ... on to what to do at that site ... tell you what I would do. Download the one for Windows Media Lite 2.4.0. Click the first link. You can put it on your desktop if you want. Or your Download folder. After you have it downloaded double click it to install. It knows where to install. (hopefully, lol)

Reboot and try that movie again.

I installed the WM Lite.exe from the first site and tried the video again but with no liuck. I'm through messing with it for now. I may try something else at a later time. I guess that I'm burned out on this problem for now. Oh, as an informational thing, notice what I found at the codec site.
