I was Googling and found this. Is this to do with how they got in or what they used? Have you seen anything like this before?

And I keep meaning to ask - what files are the most important and what should the CHMOD permissions be? Or is it with all files?

I changed the permissions on the file they were 777 
Look now I changed them back, will do a screen shot and change them back. |

I googled Babydreamz and then chose the Groups tab at the top.
I changed that folder to 744, would that be right? Its only a folder I use for my friend to access to download large photo files.
FYI Nightrider...not sure if its big enough.

The link does work if you're logged in...
Karen, on your server, the folder permissions should almost always be set to 755 while the file permissions should be set to 644. The only exceptions are folders such as the cache and images/avatars folders as well as folders where you allow members to upload files to your server such as the Attachment MOD folder. Those folders should be set to 777. But the vast majority of your folder permissions should be set to 755. The 777 permission allows the world read/write/execute permissions on everything in the folder, so it should be used ONLY when necessary...

So then you would only have 2 forum folders that should have permissions set to 777, cache and images/avatars...
