When I right click on a picture I get : send to / mail recipient / send Via e-mail / OK / inbox for / Mozilla Thunderbird and my Thunderbird e-mail program opens.  I would like my "Mail recipient" option in the Send To menu to be Outlook Express.  How can I change that?

It should look something like this when you are finished:

This is what it will look like in your Sent To menu:

When you click on MapiMail Outlook Express will open.  Netscape opens for me because that's MY default email program.

When it says "go to  C\Documents and Settings\Bob Crook\ sendto" where do I go for this?  When I go to that destination in My Computer I cannot find the New option.

This is the line of progression that I took:

The last SS is what I get when I click on Mail Recipient-MapiMail File.

Don't click on Mail Recipient-MapiMail File.  You right click in the empty space and choose New > Text document from the menu that displays and name the file.  See number 2. and 3. in the instruction.

Bobby, your default email program should open when you click mail recipient in the Send to menu.  Just which email program is your default?  If you have Thunderbird set as your default then Thunderbird will open.  If you have OE set as your default then OE will open.

You know that and I know that but.........it doesn't.  It opens in Thunderbird.  OE6 is my default mail program.

You're going to have to be more specific for me to understand.  Where IS the right-hand panel?

The right hand pane....right click and get a menu.  Go down to New ...

"New" will produce another menu, choose Text Document ..

The Text Document file will be created, type in the name .... anything as long as the extension is .mapimail  I named mine mapimail.mapimail

Make sure all squares are unchecked in Thunderbird

Check in OE under options and make sure it's set as default.  Mine isn't, I use Netscape as my default.

When I go to Explore > "C" > Documents and Settings > This is what I get.

Then as I click on each choice (Bob Crook, Administrator, All Users, Bob Crook) I get the following in the right-hand pane. None of these contain the items that are supposed to be in my Send To Menu.
