google ads, worth it? I asked this last year and thought I would share - I just got my second check from google, $112, about the same as last 6 month period. And thats not bad since I lost half my traffic when I quit doing daily cartoons. I just thought I would share that with you all. Its definately worth it.

Whats funny is I make about the same as what that website costs me. Homestead charges me $18 a month, and my new site costs less than half that and its my own site, not a subsite of homesteads, and the new site offers more high tech features where HS is way behind times. Bottom line, I could never increase traffic by adding more pages, I in fact get less traffic, so they are on the way out for good!

Sounds like Homestead may be gouging you, I'm not familar with what they offer or all their benifits so I can't really judge. I hope you can find a way to cut loose and get a refund for unused time, Dave.

On the other hand you want to give IX a good test drive before you do anything about Homestead.

Don't worry rb, I will not downsize homestead site until the new site gets at least as much traffic, when it does get more traffic its goodbye homestead.

"Homestead is a great host for anyone who wants a quick and easy website" I read somewhere. Its like a subdomain host, and they charge about 20 a month. I pay bi-annual and its 15 a month. I can't get money back because I will need time to build new site and get traffic first.

I'm working on it, even though I am using a lot of templates right now, I am working on html pages and learning as I go, but the templates are only temporary.

Jaddon, what kind of site does he have? I keep having problems with peta sticking their ads on my site. I wrote them a note yesterday thnking them for supporting my fishing site.
