Someone recently sent a link about dogs and I clicked on it and it went to OpenOffice 2.0. Now I can't get it removed. I have tried rebooting, clicking on the X in the page's upper right- hand corner and several things but it stays either on my desktop or in the Quick Launch area of my taskbar. How do i remove it from my PC?

Well I did it again! I answered my own question. I went to Task Manager and the OpenOffice 2 program was still running. I clicked on
End Task" and it removed it. I don't understand why it was still running after two days. But anyway it isn't now.

Good for you, Bobby! You're getting to be a real PC guru!
So was the Dog file ok? Don't have any idea why OO got stuck that way. Ever so often Netscape gets stuck also. It doesn't stay open though, I can close all the windows but when I try to open it again I'm asked to chose a profile and since I know I only have one profile I check task manager and sure enough Netscape is still running. I shut it down the same way you did OO and all is fine. Happened the other day, the first time in months and months.
