I went into my ACP not long ago and there was red writing informing me that my board was was not up to date and that I should click the link to install 2.0.20 or 0.0.00. Something like that. But when I clicked the link it was for 2.0.19. Now the red writing is gone from my ACP telling me I am up to date.

Could there be another update coming and they were just testing?

No, I haven't had any word that 2.0.20 has been released yet, but I imagine it's only a matter of time. It's been a while since they released 2.0.19 so they are probably due for a new release...

It is possible that they thought they were ready, then quickly pulled the release when someone spotted a huge mistake. After 2.0.18, I don't really trust that they know what they are doing much of the time...

There will be a 2.0.20 release at some point in the future when we deem it necessary to do so. However, we do not test the update checker in that way. I will note however that what you show there is not standard phpBB code and it may be a problem in whatever MOD you are using that led you to see what you say that you did.

I sure read an anger and resentment in many/most posts from those in power at phpBB. This was mild, but it is still there. I believe that Graham could have worded this better...

I wonder why there are so many angry people on the Internet???

If you downloaded an early copy of the 2.0.20 Update, you might want to check it. Â Like with the 2.0.18 Update, they screwed up and had to pull it. Â The latest version of the 2.0.20 Update is 1.0.1 now. Â Hopefully there aren't any other problems with it...

The early complaints about the 2.0.20 Update is with the Quote bbcode tags. Â Hopefully that is what they fixed when they re-released the 1.0.1 version...

I think I'm going to wait a few days too. Â This Update already is showing problems, so I want to let the dust settle before taking the plunge. Â They've already released two versions of this Update, which is never encouraging...
