Because of his new-found knowledge about AutoRun. As I told you in another discussion, after installing my new DVD/CD Drive it would not AutoPlay. I finally came back to that problem and delved into it. I began by doing a Google search for MS AutoRun fix. I went to the first URL listed and acquired the MS AutoRun Wizard. You first have to install Active X controls and and go through a verification process to show that you have a genuine MS product. After I did that I D/L and installed the small Autorun.exe file. I ran the Wizard and rebooted and now it's fixed. The only problem that I might encounter is when I try to copy a DVD or CD the original disk might want to start autoplaying, which could be a problem. In that situation it would be better to not have AutoRun enabled. Aren't you proud of my accomplishment?
