I guess it doesn't want me to have an updated version, no way no how can I get it. I go through all the steps and in the URL the Document shows loading ... and when it finishes I get a blank screen and that's the end of that.
This is what's left in the Address Bar and the screen is empty. Same results regardless if I use http or FTP or what download site.

OK, I used Firefox to download Opera 9.63. All installed and I'm good to go!
