I don't think there is anything wrong with your memory, I still think the 64MB of memory is being used by your video card.  Do you have Belarc installed. I don't know that it will show anything different but it's a good program for reporting what is on your PC and pretty accurate. It good for finding out all kinds of things.  Try it, it's free for personal use.

Belarc reports all my installed memory





Aida32 also reports all my memory even thought I have a 256 MB Video card





Katy do you have a seperate video card or is it part of the motherboard?

This is what BELARC says and shows that I have 512 ... But I don't know why my computer shows 448MB Ram.. Or where it is hiding

That's because 448MB is all that is available to the system, the rest (64MB) is being used by the video card.
