No, I haven't downloaded this yet. But you probably need to boot to the CD. I doubt that it will launch from Windows...

K, booting up ....
Neat! Took a few seconds, loaded drivers and .dlls, configured, and I don't know what all! Neat desk top.
Hey! I'm surfing with Firefox! Yahoooooo!
It connected to the internet without any problem. It even has mail, files, hehehe just like Window. All kinds of stuff. Apps...... bunch of apps.
Gonna play some more.

I don't have a printer installed on that PC.
I just created a folder on the desk top and saved a picture to it. Lot of this works just like Windows.
Can't view the contents of my partitions. I guess it needs to be installed to do that?
Flying by the seat of my pants here, haven't RTFM yet. Also have several other irons in the fire, not to mention the phone ringing off the wall!
Burn a copy, Nightrider, and try it out!! Let me know what you think

You should be able to see the contents of all of your partitions on that PC without installing Linux onto the HDD...
I have 6.06 downloading right now. I may play with it later tonight...

LOL, making this post using Linux!! I need to find where to change the display, the print is way too small. Wonder how many browsers work on Linux .....
Ths is beginning to feel easier all the time.
