I think I downloaded that one yesterday, but the icon and names is not the same, its now says "transfer". An application program, it was from that same page nr posted. I haven't had a chance to mess with it today, babysitting all day.

I have been on other adventures today though. I tried burning my first movie with nero, after my new HD, and guess what? It failed right at the end. The error data that nero has, tells me that windows had 0 errors, and nero one error that stopped the burn.

Now it isn't the only one that has failed, most all of them do fail, even my adobe who says windows will probably lock them out from burning and they are right, but this looks bad for nero since its their error, not conflicting software.

Today I tried using windows "My DVD" by sonic and it burned the movie successfully, (haven't watched it all yet, but I think it is ok). Its possible this is the program that is locking all the other programs out.

I did uninstall one dvd movie maker/burner by arcsoft, but I still have windows movie maker, which could also lock other programs out.,

After checking help in nero, I saw something saying they are still fine tuning, (eyes roll). Waiting for reply but I don't know if I will try to use nero to burn dvds anymore.

When you first open a brand new copy of SmartFTP that is what you see.

It can't show the info for the server until you set it up. You will have to fill in the blanks.  Your HDD (Explorer) is in the left panel and the server for your web site will show up in the right panels.  Transfer is the right name, that's what it does, transfers files from your HDD to your web site's server.  Once set up it will look like this:

Once you set up the server information you will probably get this page where you fine tune the settings.  There won't be too many changes you need to make but a few.  Later you can go back to settings if you want to make changes.  Don't let it all intimidate you, it's really not as complicated as it looks at first.

It works!  Perfect!

Exactly the way the files looks, the way it was sent to me with the lousy font and all!  LOL  I didn't bother fixing or changing anything before I saved it as HTML.

I love it!  Thank you again, Dave! It would have taken a year to hand code that text file.

I don't think that 1st Transfer 2000 is the same as SmartFtp.  It looks like you downloaded the wrong program fishead...

There is nothing on the SmartFtp site that even remotely hints that it has been renamed to 1st Tranfer 2000.  So I highly doubt that fishead downloaded and installed SmartFtp...

SmartFTP Client (x86) 2.0.999.21
