Of course I know the answer but a friend of mine needs to know. I'm having the same login problems that Katy is having and I was going to try cleaning up selected cookies to see if that will help. But Katy said it didn't improve her login problem. If it won't work for Katy I'm sure it won't work for me because she's a much better person than I am. That seems to be the consensus here on RCF. Old Pete and Ed ( A couple of good ole Texas boys) think so anyway. That is even the same view all the way down to OZ, huh Glenn?

To delete cookies in IE, you would click on Tools/Internet Options...
Then go to the General tab and click on the Delete Cookies button...
Unfortunately, IE does not give you the option to selectively delete some cookies while leaving others, so when asked whether you want to delete all cookies in the temporary folder, you would say Yes...

I don't know what you're yammering about, Bobby, but you're as good a person as Katy or any other member of RCF.
Just to prove it I'm gong to help you (er.. your friend) with the IE cookies. There doesn't seem to be a way to find the the IE cookies, they hide them good! BUT ... when there is a will there is a way!!!!!
Here is a neat, FREE, little program that lets you manage the IE Cookies!
IECookiesView v1.70
That will allow you to do anything you want with the IE cookies except eat them.

| Ok. I D/L IECookiesView v1.70 to my "My Downloads" folder. It shows up there as iecv.zip. I have been unable to install it and get the list of IE cookies. What am I doing wrong or not doing? |

I DO NOT yammer RB girl. I speak with great clarity and am thronged constantly by those that admire my words of wisdom that I impart. Well lately I have maybe yammered some about my poor, ole sore leg. I must have been yammering because everybody runs away from me lately. They don't understand. I just want to tell them all about my injury again. (and again, and again, and again). Ok ...........so maybe I do yammer. |

Extract the zipped files into the same folder where you downloaded the installer, double click the .exe file and ZOOM! there is the cookie manager! Actually it's a stand alone and doesn't install on your system. You can create a short cut for it to you desktop if you want so it's handy.

I'm lost! I didn't download the installer to any file that I know of. All I did was D/L the iecv.zip to "My Downloads" folder. It is shown there as :
When I dbl click on the icev.exe file I get this:
When I click on Run I get:
As you can see it is blank. What do I do now? |

Did you delete all the cookies in IE? That could be why your IE Cookie View window is empty.
To get the installation option box (for placing a button in IE toolbar) click on File and then Installation Options.
