Looks like the Aero Club are going to get rid of the crappy site they have now with MSN and get a proper one done and guess who has the job of doing it? Yes me  violent1

Ohh well, I don't mind. The problem I have when designing sites is where to start. I've been looking at web site templates but I haven't seen any I like. Does anyone know of some free good looking templates?

I may have a phpbb as well.

Will be a while before anything gets done. It has to get approved at our next meeting which is on May 29. I have to give them details about hosting and domain prices. That part is already done though so I'm just looking for inspiration. I'll check out those sites in time and keep you advised on progress.

Congratulations Glenn.  I'm sure this will be a fun challenge for you.  Will the other members be providing any suggestions or assistance or are you supposed to come up with the design, content, and labor all by yourself???

I don't know of any good Web templates, but I haven't really been looking either.  It would be nice to find something that easily integrates with phpBB so that when you log into your Web site, you are also logged into your forum.  Since I've seen other php programs that do it, I imagine that there are Web templates that are designed to quickly and easily integrate with phpBB too.  Our Coppermine gallery offered that option...

Who knows  dontknow Nothing has been approved yet so we'll just wait for the next meeting.

Aussie the first three links are really duds!   Unless you want their pay for templates.

The last link is by far the best of the four. I'm sure there are more out there.  I like this one from that 4th link and looks like it might be good for an avaition site.  Don't know about phpbb integration.

Glenn, most HTML editors come with templates. Check whatever software you're using, see if it has a template you like.

I have frontpage but that doesn't come with templates. I have created sites before from scratch but I just want to cheat. I do have the template I had for my site so I might just use that.
