i have a friend who has xp 32 bit, her daughter got a graphics kid program that needs xp 64, is it possible to upgrade this, she put extra memory in computer.
thanks, i don't know anything about this,,, |

In a word, no. You either have XP 32 bit or XP 64 bit, they are two separate operating systems. Does the kid graphic program come in 32 bit version? Maybe she can exchange it?

| thanks rb, i didn't think so, and it doesn 't come in 32 bit, so i told her to get a new computer they are on sale now.. |

It's a shame a company was so short sighted that it produced a program that would only run on a 64 bit system. There are WAY more 32 bit machines than 64 bit. Most often a 32 bit program will do fine on a 64 bit machine but not vice versa.
