getting the run around and looks like I won't get the promised warranty. I wouldn't have went with the deal without it. I am thinking about stopping payment in paypal.

That Steve just called from HP VIP office, he denies charging me $213 (its on my credit card on that day, not later after it was sent in) and he denies offering the warranty, says he doesn't remember the phone call at all! while admitting it could have been him. He gave me the brush off and refuses to give me the warranty. I think I will dispute the charge in paypal. They can have the stupid computer, I just want my money back. I was treated very badly by HP.

Yes I remember you saying that nr. I didn't realize how bad they were until I bought this toshiba. I have had good luck with my old hp media center pc, it still is my workhorse but my newer one has been a nightmare sometimes. I don't think I will ever buy another hp or compaq.
