Hummm ... Like they said MS isn't going to stop selling Word anytime soon. It will be interesting to see how this resolves. I'm sure it will take years like everything dealing with Microsoft.

They filed the lawsuit in March 2007 after M$ released Word 2007 which violated i4i's 1998 patent (No. 5,787,449). As is typical with lawsuits against M$, this lawsuit has been drug out for over 2 years and it's not over yet. M$ could drag this out for a decade or more...
