| Have you downloaded it? I haven't and they drive me crazy with reminders... Is there any problems with it and should I download it... And same questions for IE8 |

| SP3 is not an operating system but a security upgrade... IE 8 is OS but I don't want to download it 'til I know someone else is using it... But thanks... |

LOL, I meant what operating system is that Service Pack for? Is it for XP or Vista? I'm not aware of a SP3 for Vista although there may be one.
SP3 for XP has been out for quite a while now and should have all the bugs worked out (she said as she went down for the 3rd time). Here is information on it.

My XP is 64bit and there hasn't been a SP3 for it so I can't speak from experience but if your PC doesn't have any problems, viruses or spyware a service pack usually goes well. It always has for me. I would back up all the important data to a CD or 2nd HDD and go for it.

I've installed SP3 and IE8 on several PCs without any problems. The only thing that I have found that caused any problems was .NET 3 on one PC...
