Cafe Press is forcing shopkeepers to sell at a low percentage rate for any item found in google searchs. Since they dominate listings in google (because they are a large website and they use our own product descriptions), we cannot compete with this so we will be forced to turn all cafe press marketing features off (marketing means listing in google). | Its really sad. It ruined a lot of peoples lives that depended on them. I am closing my store after building it up for 6 years. I already turned off merchandising so they can't list me anymore, and as sales quit coming in I will start removing ads and then by fall I will close before they take anymore dues out. I did make two sales in zazzle today so thats good news. I hope cafe press goes out of business for being so greedy. |
