Thank you. Let me look around a little bit first. I think I may have got in under the wire. Am I right in thinking XP has a zip program built in? The install window that popped up didn't give me any options. No destination folder, no progress bar or anything. It just opened IE and took me to the DL of the day site to a What's Next page.

LOL, if it installed it must have been a super duper install! I have a feeling you were too late and it just fizzled out before it even unpacked the files.

Yes, I think XP has a built in unzip. After installing XP one of the first things I installed was 7Zip, it zips and unzips just about anything and it's free. And on top of that there is even a x64 version. Ain't Open Source wonderful? I don't remember if I ever used the XP unzipper to tell the truth.
It unzips by itself automatically, there is nothing to it. Just click on it and it unzips.
That's what I thought the other night. I got the readme and I thought the setup. But now when I looked, I had to unzip again to get the readme. I cannot find where it installed to, or an icon or entry in the Start menu. And when I tried the setup again it said I was too late. I'm thinking I ought to set the clock back and try again. I see the zipper now in the R click / Send To options. Thanks Fish.
Anyhow, I have the CD and that's really the only way to run a program like this in the first place. I haven't played with it. Did you remember seeing a Drive Image option, RB? Don't reboot and go looking. If you don't remember I'll look later. Thank you!
This puter is NOT CLEAN. Half the stuff in Explorer was supposed to be uninstalled. More than half the stuff is still under my friends name. His My Documents folder is the default destination of a whole lot of stuff. I'm thinking about buying an xp disk and starting again. Shore a lot of money though!
