So that will stop a lot of the people selling open source stuff. No more ebooks or templates for me and millions of others and websites and businesses are closing up.

I am putting my ebooks on cd. I have an auto run and making the pages in html, like mini websites and I will also link to pdf and word docs.

eBay bans auctions of digital downloads

Online auction site eBay is changing its policy on digital items that are delivered electronically. Instead of selling these items via auction, eBay now requires sellers to take out 30-day classified ads for $9.95 to sell digital goods. The change is intended to prevent sellers from artificially boosting their feedback ratings by selling thousands of identical downloads for as little as pennies. There's no feedback involved in the classifieds section, but classified ads will show up in a regular eBay search.

I heard through te grapevine that ebay was avoiding some big lawsuits and that is why they banned dd all the sudden. The software companies and others were getting ripped off by people selling piroted copies. The feedback was just an excuse if you ask me, they will be losing milions in ebook sales.

So I am now offerimng CDs but onlt sold one so far. Some people were selling tens of thousands of ebooks for pennies and most were probably piroted. I'm disapointed but glad to see no more selling downloads of open source software, now they will have to sel CDs.
