| When I open Internet Explorer or any link it opens in a small window. I hve to maximize it each time. How do I change it to open in the full-sized window? |

This works sometimes. Right click the IE icon and go to properties in the menu. In the box that opens change the Run option to Maximized

I tried your suggestion and this one also but neither worked.
Close all instances of Internet Explorer except one. Open a new
window, and close the original. Type (case sensitive) the
following into the address bar (where XXX,XXX is your screen
resolution), and press ENTER:
javascript:moveTo(0,0);resizeTo(XXX,XXX)
When the new window re-sizes, hold the CTRL key and close the
window. New windows should now open at full size, with everything
visible.
Example, if your screen is set at 800 x 600:
javascript:moveTo(0,0);resizeTo(800,600)

Just open an IE window and instead of using the Maximize button, manually adjust the size of the window to fill the entire screen area. Then close it down and reopen it. The IE window should now open filling the entire screen area...

Nightrider, that may work if IE opens minimized (so will my solution) but that's not always the case. Mine for instance opens maximized but if I click a link on a page and want it to Open In New Window the window will open minimized. You can stretch it full size manually, close it and reopen the same link and it opens minimized.
I really don't know if there is a solution or what caused it in the first place. Somehow at one time I did have all windows opening full size but somewhere along the way it changed.

Bobby, check out this thread.
The first solutions worked for me
After following the instructions in the first response all windows opened from a link open full size, however they really aren't maximized they are only stretched to full size. LOL Still and all it works to get a full screen. Don't know about the other suggestions, the install and all, haven't tried it.

No, that will work regardless of what size the window opens...

It may have worked on your PC but it didn't on mine.

Strange. Bobby can try it to see if it works on his. If not, then it was worth a try anyway...
