I did download it and may install it later. I have so many players now I don't know what to do with all of them, LOL. I need to get rid of some I guess.

| I.ve been cleaning up myself after having a crash yesterday... Don't know what happened ... Just went kaput ... Anything I haven't used in a long while is out of here... I did download much of it to a DVD. Just incase... |

Are you back up and running ok now? What happened, did the PC freeze, cut itself off or reboot? No warning or error messages?

| Yes I am back up and running... Running really well by the way... PC started acting strange with mouse jumping all over ,so replaced the mouse but it still didn't work right couldn't get onto sites and continual error messages... That was Mon. eve. So I went to bed assumong it would be OK in the AM... But it wasn't any better .. Finally I tried restore. Still no better so I had to do a reg. install and seems OK... So far so good... But wish I knew what caused the problem... |

Sounds like spyware/virus/trojan ... take your choice. Did you run Ad-aware, AVG, Spybot and anything else you might have installed. Since everything is ok now that you reinstalled the OS it doesn't sound like a hardware problem. Must have been something in the software. I'm guessing a virus or a trojan.

| Yes I ran all my spyware and virus aids and everything was good.. That was my first thought too but it evidently wasn't that...I just keep running it tentatively hopeing it doesn't come back... But it is running well, so I'll just hope for the best... |

Glad everything is back to normal. If it does occur again you might consider some program running in the background. You have already checked for spyware and such and changed out the mouse so the next thing I would consider is a program that doesn't play nice with the mouse.
Hopfully there won't be anymore problem.
