Nightrider, is this site hosted by ix webhosting?
If so, is it a good deal? Are the servers good and reliabe? And most of all, can I pay thorugh paypal?
And is this one a good deal?

Hi lakeccrunner! I'm not Nighrider but I think I can answer some of your questions. Yes this site is hosted by IX, September will be a year. And so far we are happy with them.
The $3.95 plan is a good deal if you only want a web site however, it doesn't come with phpBB2 so if you want a forum you will need the $6.45 a month plan. And yes you can use PayPal to pay.
Click the link at the bottom of the page and look around at the site, see what each plan offers.

Do they have an automatic installer for the phpBB2, or do I have to do it all my self?
Edit- Never mind...I didn't read closely the first time. I just saw that they do have an auto installer.
And is the 1500GB Bandwidth monthly, or total Bandwidth? |

^ Yeah. I think I've got it narrowed down to either IX or Top Class Host...
I have a free host now, but I think it's time if I want my site to be more successful I get a paid host. |

The 1500 GB of bandwidth is a monthly total. I highly doubt that you would ever run out even with a very active forum...
Also, the problem with the $3.95 plan is that it doesn't include any database options. So even though you could upload the phpBB install files to your server, you could never install it since you wouldn't have access to a database...
The best option would be the $6.45 per month plan. With 300 GB of available webspace and 1500 GB of Bandwidth, you should never have to worry about space or the amount of activity on your site...
We have been very happy with IX so far. IX has been very good at fixing most problems before we can even submit a support ticket, which is rare in webhosting. On our previous host, our site could be down for hours until we called them to complain. Since IX seems to be closely monitoring their servers, in the event that there is a problem, it is usually resolved in minutes whether we are around to see it or not. It's nice to have a host that is as on top of things as IX seems to be. And on the few times that we have had to call them, IX was very helpful. IX has bent over backwards to keep us happy, so I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone...
