Can anyone tell me what this is?

"Critical Error

I've had easymod installed for a while now (NICE). I installed 4 mods mods when I first started, np's at all.
I'm now trying to get some spam/bot protection but every mod I try comes back with a critical error. All starting with text above (2 of the errors below)
The very first time I tried the ftp settings/password was wrong, if that makes any difference Smile

Most likely you'll all look at this and say "DUUUR" but I'm a newb so I'll say soz now.

I've read the FAQ which tells me to check the file its looking for is there. Well no, everytime the file is missing, which would be fair enough if we're talking about one mod but this is happening on every mod (10+ now).

The folder isn't there when i first upload but is after trying to run the EM mod install, but its empty. Firstly I thought it was permissions, so I allowed everything then tried again from scratch, no joy.
Even a nudge in the right direction would be great, I don't know what else to try.
At the mo' I not only have to ban/edit every bot account but the forum is displaying email addys for 300+ clients.

EM has always worked a treat then just stopped.

Are you using the latest Textual Confirmation hack? It's best to use the ones from phpBB.com or phpBBHacks as ones of other sites tend to be written bad etc

If it is a permissions thing to do with EM though then Nightrider will find the culprit no doubt, as always banana

Using Textual Confirmation 1.0.1 but its every mod lately.

Can anyone give me the correct CHMOD settings for phpbb, admin, mods, etc folders.
So I can check 'em all.

Every folder was 755. I've just been through 'em all.
Am I correct in thinking "user" is anyone/thing that logs in using ,my main ftp details.
Eg. the first number being 7 is all it should need to do what it likes?

I'm sorry that I'm late for the party. My health has been pretty bad this past week, so just as I begin to catch up, things go south and then I'm swamped again. I can't seem to keep up like I would like lately. Hopefully the worst is over for a while...

You definitely have a strange error message there. I don't remember seeing this error on any other server that I've worked on, so this could be an interesting challenge trying to figure out what is causing it...

Have you attempted to reinstall EM yet? That might be the easiest way to resolve this so it's worth a try. Before you can reinstall EM, you will need to go into EM Settings in your ACP MOD Center and at the bottom of the page change the version from 0.3.0 to 0.2.0. If you aren't using the latest EM version, you really want to upgrade. If that is the case, then you won't have to decrease the EM version before you upgrade to 0.3.0...

Let me know if any of this helps and if not, we can dig into this problem deeper until we can resolve the problem...

Restalling EM took less than 2 mins. First mod straight in.
