Bit Torrent has been the utility of choice until just lately. Too many unscrupulous users have abused Bit Torrent to send pirated music and videos and now the proigram is in trouble. Pando is supposed to do the same thing but it hasn't been corrupted .........yet.

This peer-to-peer software lets you easily send and receive large files via e-mail or instant messaging clients. The utility is particularly helpful because most ISPs won't allow you to send or receive e-mail file attachments over a certain size.

I was going in circles earlier and had given up. Sounds like a neat program.... but... I've downloaded it but not sure when if ever I'll install it, I need to know about this "unblock" business. Once installed is it constantly open to the internet?
