Strange, we use mail.4fxearth.net for our settings without any trouble whatsoever. I hope the localhost or 127.0.0.1 setting works better for you...

So ar it has but only time will tell.

I have another error reported (sorry Nightrider!)

One member gets this is she tries to read a thread with more that 3 or 4 replies. I'm waiting for her to clarify how often she's getting it but this is what she sees. She's the olny one who has said she is getting this dontknow

Probably what could be helpful is what browser she is using? Also, does this happen in any forum or just forums that have sub-forums? If she could provide a link to a topic where this is happening for her, that might be helpful too. Does this always happen in the affected topic or does it go away after reloading/refreshing the page???

If it is only affecting one member, it may be a problem with her PC but more information may help to track down the source of the problem...

If she is the only one encountering this problem, it is probably a problem on her end. It still would be good to have more details to help to determine whether there is anything that we can adjust to make it work for her too...

She said she uses IE, its in any of the forums but only with long threads. If she refreshes it goes through.
I did notice last night that a page never loaded for me, I got the banner and the first rainbow block with the title but the inside was completely blank (not dark like she had though) dontknow

She was going to try and log in on a Uni pc to see if it happens there, I haven't heard back form her as yet.

Maybe if she can provide a link to a topic where this happened. we can try it in IE and see if we can repeat the problem. What version of IE is she running???

Tried to register because it wouldn't take my login. I thought I had registered at one time but could be mistaken. Jumped throught a bunch of hoops to get to the end of the registration (!!!! LOL) only to be told that user name is in use already! $$##@#@ LOL

Tried again to log in and turns out I was using XP at the time I registered, the xp on the end of the user name worked. Then I was made to post in the introduction thread before I could read or post anywhere!

Man! I wouldn't do this for anybody but you Karen! LOL Just joking. That was fun.

OK, in order to get the error one has to respond and try to submit at the end of a long thread? I guess I will need to use IE?

BTW I don't know if this is the usual behavior or it's because I'm using Netscape but more than half the width of the posting screen is taken up with the Emoticons display. Is that normal?
