Ok, I'm looking at the CWD message a couple posts back. When you entered the path to the forum, did you include a / on the end of phpBB2? If so, try it again without it using the same settings that you had then. The PHP FTP Extensions should be set to No and localhost should be set to your FTP Address...
So what are you using for the path to your board???

GOT IT! I was putting the ftp in where it said file path
|
I was putting ftp in the path box, I took it out and it installed.
One more question thought. I uploaded a mod to the mods file and went onto admin ACP and use the install, click the new mods box, then clicked process and got view files. What do i do with those and how do I continue installing mod from that point? Do i copy that info in the view to notepad, save as said file and upload to my phpbb2 root?

Congratulations Matooba!!!
Don't bother with the Preview mode. I have never used it and it is unnecssary for installing these MODs. EM won't modify any of your phpBB files until you get to Step 3 of the MOD install. So if you get to Step 1 or 2 and see that there are problems in the MOD script that need to be corrected, you can press the Back button in your browser, fix the MOD scrpt, then try it again using EM. Sometimes you may have to go back and forth several times before the MOD conflicts are corrected and the MOD is ready to install. So don't get frustrated with it if a MOD doesn't install on the first try...
We will be happy to help you through each conflict until you have learned the easy tricks we use to get most MODs to install. Just post any Critical or Warning errors along with the Unrecognized commands if any, and we will assist you in adjusting the MODs so that they can be installed on your board...

You don't have to select the Preview option when installing a MOD. In fact, it is better if you don't...
If you are getting that list to Preview the modified files even without using the Preview option, then it sounds like you installed EM using the Manual option, which is really a PITA to use. If that is the case, then you should try to reinstall EM the standard way so that it will do all the work for you. You would have to decrease the EM version number in EM Settings before you would be able to reinstall EM. This will only be necessary if you installed EM using the Manual option though, so if that is not the case, you can ignore this paragraph...

I responded to the other topic. Hopefully you will be around at the same time that I am here so that we can get this installed once and for all...
