You are Welcome.
No offense, Bobby, but I'm a bit disappointed you didn't go ahead and create a bootabe CD. It's not that hard to do. Would you like to learn how.

Yes I would. If I remember correctly I need to D/L the file as an image to my HDD and then burn it to a CD. All information will be greatly appreciated but be gentle with me please. |

OK, lets start all over. Go to http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp and Download Windows Memory Diagnostic to your desktop. It will look like this:
When you double click it you will get this window:
Click on Save CD Image to Disk. Save it to your desktop, it will look like the next SS: (that last box may stay up after saving, just hit the cancel button to get rid of it.)
When you double click that file you saved you should get a Nero window that looks like the SS below. Actually there will be two windows I think you can take it from there, just a matter of burning the CD. THEN you can boot up with that CD.

Please explain or show SS of what two windows there will be. And then list the steps to taks next one by one. I'm not getting the things that you say I should be getting. I must be skipping some step or another. Explain SLOWLY please.

Yes, do what the instructions say ... how and when did you get that box about the System Configuration Utility? At any rate you want Windows to start normally and undo the Utility.
The SS of the two Nero windows is the last one in the post with the instructions. Actually all you have to do is insert a CD into the tray and press the Burn button.
