Nr, code doesn't change for you, I believe that, but with me ... a different story.

That sounds like you believe the code has it out for you.  It really doesn't though.  Code is dumb and has no life or personality of its own...

Code shouldn't change if its right. Man I hope your right.

Buggy code can't be trusted to display properly.  But the code itself never changes unless it is instructed to change.  A human has to be behind those instructions.  Buggy code can produce weird display behavior though, so if the code isn't displaying properly, you can go back and adjust the code to display properly.  But when you get into the code, it's going to be the same as you left it the last time you edited it unless someone else has modified it.  The code itself has no ability to change itself...

Hey nr, I used that global que yesterday and it worked ok. I figured it out, since my connection is so slow now, I have to give it time to load and it will load ok doing it like you said. It took a couple hours to load a couple hundred small images, but Im not complaining, its about the same pace as my co store or my old host. I just wish I hadn't seen it work so fast when I first started. Maybe they do this routeenly, give people lots of power at first then put them in a slower server or something.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know you were right about the global que, it is better than drag and drop if one has a lot of files like I do, so thanks again for your help.

I'm happy to hear that you figured out how to use the Global Queue option.  It is a nice utility for what you are doing...

If you have noticed any slow down on your FTP Server, you should contact IX and report it.  They have been pretty good at correcting any problem that has arisen on our server.  I'm sure they would be happy to help you too if you let them know there is a performance problem...

Also, Dave, it's possible that it is your PC that is responsible for the slowness.  Not saying it is but it's possible.

Update and run your spyware scanners.  Do you have Ad-aware and Spybot Search and Destroy?  Spyware can slow your PC down a lot because it is constantly reporting back home about your activities.
