How do I make the letters in a document larger with my HP 6540?

I'm  not exactly, 100 percent certain about this but I don't think the printer is responsible for the size of the print size.  Doesnt' that have to be decreased or increased in the document on your PC? In other words I think the printer prints font the size that is formatted in your document.

There may or may not be an option in your Printer Properties to control the print scale.  It is possible that your program where the document is open will allow you to change the setting...

In Opera, you can click on Print Options:

Then you can adjust the scale print percentage:

If you don't have either of those options, then you would have to do as rb suggests and adjust the font size in the document before printing it...

IE has the options shown below, in IE they are called Page Setup and Print Preview.  Thing is I don't know if they depend on what  printer you have installed, the browser or the OS.

Possibly some printers themselves have setting to change the font size before printing, mine doesn't.   Any changes have to be made on the PC, if printing from a web page such as below, or change the format for the document in the program that you used to create it.
