How do I edit the author of a topic in the forum? I am not sure how disagreement became an author in my forum?

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Are you sayinig that you want to change the author of a post in one of your forums to someone else or are you wanting to delete their message, or am I just completely lost? Can you provide a link of the problem message and exactly what you want done to it???

If you want to change the author, you have to change the User ID assigned to the message in your phpbb_posts table and perhaps the phpbb_topics table if it is the initial post...

Can you take a look. Something seems out of place. I think if I post may be it will automate the correction? Disagreements posted in general forum/popes. This is unlinked...

Disagreements posted as a Guest. If you want to make it so that only registered members can post, you can change the permissions in Forum Admin. You would have to set the permissions for each forum. Go into Advanced Mode if it starts in Simple Mode. Reg represents registered members...

No actually Disagreements didn't post as a guest. The guest posted as a guest but shows up a Disagreements in the index.

Look the word Disgreements shouldn't even be where it is! How was it possible for it to get placed there?

It sure looks to me as though someone posted as a guest and used the name Disagreements...

I learned something new. I changed the permissions.
