Saving Frozen Work

Suppose you're sitting at your computer working on file when your
program freezes. You don't want to lose the work you've accomplished,
so what do you do?

Your may be able to save your work so don't force the program closed
just yet. Instead, try one of these two methods to save your file.

Method 1

1) Press the Ctrl and S keys on your keyboard.
2) If that worked, you can probably press Ctrl + F4 to close the
  file you just saved.

Method 2

1) Hold down the ALT key, and press the F key to open the file menu.
2) Use your arrow keys to navigate down to the SAVE option.
3) Once Save is highlighted, press Enter to save your work.
4) Repeat the process to select CLOSE and close your saved file.

Now that you've saved the work you almost lost, rush to the post
office and send me a dollar for pulling your bacon out of the fire!

Katy, have you had a chance to try this?  I wonder if it works?   Whenever I've had a screen freeze nothing would move or work, no keystroks that's for sure.

I'll try to remember this next time I'm working on something and the screen freezes.  Would be nice if it really worked.

I imagine that if the PC is frozen, then the keyboard doesn't work either, so nothing you do will be able to rescue the unsaved data...
