I opened a WorldStart Tips e-mail this morning and in place of pictures there were blank boxes with small red Xs in the upper left-hand corners. I closed the page and came back to it and there were pictures in place of the blankboxes. What happened? I remember reading why you sometimes get the little red Xs but forgot what I read. Seems like it was a programming error. But why disd reloading the page correct this?

Maybe you didn't give them time to load the first time? Don't know. I'll get those occassionally also but in my case the boxes stay blank with the little red x in the corner no matter how many times I come back to it. Usually it has to do with the sender. And those especially using Incredimail. Netscape just doesn't like Incredimail.

Now on the internet it might be different, sometimes I will see the empty boxes with the red x but if I wait a while or reload the page the boxes fill up.

Right click and click on "show picture" It should work

On the Web sometimes that works sometimes not. Never in email. At least not for me.

ok, didn't read the part about the email. I have noticed that just above the email message there is a grey bar with some writing about if you click it then the images will appear. That's in Outlook Express anyway.
