Just a reminder to everyone that sony put a secret code in their music Cds to spy on customers. They supposedly removed them, but my son bought one and the name sony is now hidden, and it appears to me to still be fishy. I cannot open the cd in any music editor, it has info inbedded keeping iyt from being used in personal DVds etc. I think it still loads code in my pc. It only lets you create 2 copies per pc., I think this cd messed my pc up with all their codes inbedded.

Customers will have a hard time knowing if it is sony or not, take a magnifying glass to the store with you. Don't forget to boycott sony, they can't get away with this.

I don't buy any music CD so I don't have that to worry about. Unless somone plays one on my PC.

The CD bound to put some code on your PC how else would it know that you have made two copies? Man, that's invasion. Seem to be a lot of that going around these days.

I probably won't be buying any music CDs for a long time either. I'm sure that the music CDs that I have now were bought long before this threat came on the market...

Wonder if this applys to music you buy on the internet like itunes and walmart.......Probably does.

I occasionally buy a song from MSN Music. Most recently I downloaded "Calling All Angels" to give as a thank you CD to all the gals who helped me with the cleaning and painting at the new house. I made seven copies and they came out perfectly... Thanks heavens... I wasn't even aware the Sony was doing this... Guess I hit it lucky

BUT, Katy, remember ..... you sent it to me via email and I could not play it. I saved it to my disk and tried from there. I got a box with a form to fill out and they wanted my password or purchase number showing that I owned the music or something like that. I have never come across something like that before.
