I know there are tons of HTML lessons out there and we have a couple of links to some on our Links Page, one of which was provided by Aussie. But I found a site I think deserves looking at.

This is excellent for the very beginner. I think I'm going to be using it a lot for reference, I like the way she has the lessons set up.

I have written to her asking for a button so I can add it to our links page. I tried to make one my usual way using Gadwin to cut out a chunk of real estate but once sized you can't read it.

What do you all think of the place?

It's a good resource, has tags and their attributes neatly listed and explained. Paragraph tags should have ending tags, though, whether you use any alignment attributes or not.

What icon were you trying to get, RB? If it's an image, you don't need to use Gadwin for a screenshot. Right-click on the image and choose Save image as... or Save target as..., and that'll save the actual image.

Thanks, gdatuk, I was thinking the same thing.

BigR, I couldn't find any icon to use. I was going to just cut of a piece of the page and use that as a button. Like this part for instance

At 88 pixels wide, and even with adding the white part at the botton I only get around 20 pixels rather than the 30 I would like, this is what it would look like.

I could leave off the word lesson and maybe come up with a bit of a better button. Course I could just make one up but I like to use something from the site or something they provide.

You might want to wrap that text down to 2 separate lines rb. The icon is either too long or too narrow in both of your examples. It would be easier to read if it was the same standard size as all the other icons with the text wrapped to two lines. Since your screenshot example would be easy to duplicate in PSP, you might as well create a standard sized icon for the site...
