Ok who here is good at graphics? I need help please. Could some please take the following graphic for me and change the colour of the airplane? As is the green plane is hard to see on my forum. This is the folder_new.gif on my forum for the folder images. I have tried to change this using a basic program I have but no luck, so I was hoping someone could be kind and help me out. I promise not to prank you anymore.

I was thinking of this orange colour instead of green -

i used photoshop...
the exact technique: use magic wand to just select the plane...
then images adjustments - play around with hue and saturation..until u get the real color...but first change the color mode to RGB..else u will not be able to do all this... |

Glenn, take a look at Photo Impact, from Ulead, and Paint Shop Pro, now owned by Corel but was developed by Jasc. Both of those programs can change the color, hue and saturation (colorize). And both are substantially cheaper than Photoshop.
If you want a free program, check out the Gimp... or is it GIMP? Anyway, it's free, open source, and has over the years become a more powerful graphics program. I think it also could change the color of a graphic.
Photoshop is good, no question, but it's big and expensive. A smaller, cheaper, easier to figure out program might be the answer for you. My advice is to look at the programs, and get the one that works the way you do, that "thinks" the way you do. |
