Happy Choosing
A wise ten-year-old once said to me, "You know, a pessimist looks at a glass and says, 'That glass is half empty.' An optimist looks at a glass and says, 'That glass is half full.' But I look at that same glass and say, 'This glass is refillable.'"
I love that because we can look at anything and decide what it's going to mean. Today, we can be reminded of what 'A Course in Miracles' says to us, "I must have decided wrongly because I am not at peace, but I can choose again."
Anytime we look at something and we are not at peace, we can recognize that we have the power to choose again --This glass is refillable.
