Got the update icon in my System Tray today but I think before I install anything I'll make an image of my C: drive AND set a restore point. Although I think a restore point is set automatically every time there is an update.
In case I disappear from the radar screen for a couple of days you'll will know I was hit by a disastrous M$ Update! LOL

I didn't get one. They never released a SP3 for the 64 bit OS.
After making an image of the C: drive yesterday I went ahead and did the updates. All went fine, tested internet connection, all my browsers and favorite programs. No problems.
Then I cleaned out temp files and junk, updated and ran all the adware, spy and virus programs I have. Ran a registry cleaner. Cleaned out, deleted trash and optimized the folders in my email client, deleted old backups and made new one on my backup partition.
Once I knew everything was still running perfect I create another image of the two partitions on my 2nd HDD and today I'll create them on my external USP HDD and THAT one I'm taking with me when I leave Friday morning for Dallas.
