| I just got my windows sp3 update for my second computer. The first one seemed to take forever, it really had me worried but it just downloaded on my newer pc and it went faster. Nothing bad happened so far. They warned to back up all your files before proceeding. |

I guess they don't have one for 64 bit XP Pro.... I had some security updates a while back but don't see any SP for me.
Just checked the site and it says: No high-priority updates for your computer are available.

| i had one for my xp pro, it was huge, then a couple days later i got one for xp and when it finished i looked to see what it was it said sp3 was installed. didn't get anything for vista. |

| btw rb, that little doggy in the corner was barking asking if it was ok to install the update. i did get warnings too, to close all programs and backup all my files before i downloaded it. i didn't pay a lot of attention until i realized it was taking a long time to download, so i watched when it installed on other pc to be sure it was actually ms and what it was exactly. |

The thing is we can back up until we're blue in the face and never need a one of them. BUT .. the one time we don't back up ..... all hell breaks loose! LOL
