I have been working on an ebook for ebay, I uploaded the compressed folder to a folder in my server, it works when you click on it, but for some reason ebay won't except the url. Anyone know anything about what I could be doing wrong? I know other people use box.net to hold their ebooks, but I should be able to use my website server. Here is what I just posted on a forum in ebay but I don't think they will know:

I ran into a snag. ebay won't except my url.

I uploaded the ebook to my server in a folder. I got the url from that. I don't get what the difference is between my url and the one in the ebook "easy digital delivery ebook" I got in here - which is on top and mine below:

Why won't mine work in ebay, it works if you click on the link?

I tried leaving off the .zip, I tried adding .html, but nothing else works to access the ebook. What do I have to do? My server should work to upload these ebooks. I'm missing something. I don't want to use box.net if I don't have to.

Oh wait a minute, I just noticed the link didn't highlight the whole url because of spaces, maybe thats whats wrong. I will remove the spaces and try again.

It still won't except my url. Anyone have any ideas?

This link won't work but if you copy and paste it into the adress bar it will work. I don't get it.

It should be http:// instead of html://

oh darn, now I feel stupid. Thanks NR. I knew it didn't look right, what was I thinking? I guess I've been straining my brain too much with making this darn thing. PS elements 5 isn't bad like I thought, there is so much new stuff and I have to try to learn it fast. It lets me make great slideshows and save as pdf. or video format. I love it.

I had to type in html a number of times in ebay to get it listed, that was really hard and tricky. Here is the auction and I think you know how to check out the ebook if you want.
