| I attempted to burn two DVD videos to a DVD=R disc but it would not accept it. It kept telling me insert a writeable disc into the drive. One video is 399 MB and the other is 515 MB. They should have fir onto the DVD which has a capacity of 4.7 GB. What am I not doing right? I copyied the first one and then put the second one into the source drive but with no success. Shouldn't the second one have burned on behind the first ? |

Did the session close after the first one was burned? If so, like Jasso says, you would need a RW DVD.
I'm not at all sure what you are doing, Bobby. Didn't you put both movies in the window to be burned to a DVD at one time? Why are you trying to burn them separately? Are you using Ashampoo? Does this look anything like what you attempted to do:
When you get this window press Add and find the folder that has your movies, open it and click on each movie you wanted burned to a DVD and they should appear in the window. Then you just let Ashampoo burn them.

Let me state this very simply. I have two separete DVDs from a funeral home with a memorial on each. I would like to copy both onto one DVD to keep. Neither are in a folder. They are on DVDs. How do I get each of them into a folder? I was using Nero Express at the first attempt. I first must get them each into a folder. |

| How do i get each of them into a folder or folders? They need to be in a folder before I can use AShampoo to burn then onto another CD+RW or DVD+RW. |

LOL, I couldn't even began to tell you. I've done it but don't remember what program I used, I downloaded and installed so many trying to accomplish that I no longer remember what steps or programs I used. It's called encoding or recoding or something like that. LOL Can you tell I've only done it once!? You end up with two folders and in order to copy them to the DVD you will use a file from only one of the folders.
Fishead might be able to tell you or try Google.
Why don't you want to try the Nero "Import DVD" feature? By pass putting the movie in a folder.
I'll see what I can help you find on Google as far as instructions for what you want to do.

| OK I put the Funeral Home DVD in my "E" drive, opened Nero Vision, clicked on Make DVD video., then clicked on "Import Disc". That's where everything stopped. None of the buttons would let me click on them. They went dead for some resaon. I'm about o reach my saturation point for information and ready to stop. I know this is probably simple but ...........only if you already know how to do it. |
