Thanks for posting a great and FREE program for our members, Katy. I've used Easy Cleaner for years.

What I like about it is that you can choose which drives to work on. I have stopped using the registry cleaner part of it though. Bob Proffitt says PCs W2K and up shouldn't be using a registry cleaner, may do more harm than good. I read around and that seems to be the suggestion by many "experts". I do use Easy Cleaner for other stuff however.

There is a registry optimizer I use, NTREGOPT. Also ERUNT which automatically backups the registry every day if you reboot your PC everyday. You can also run it and back up the registry anytime you want. Like when you're about to install a new program. If you download ERUNT then NTREGOPT comes bundled with it.

I've used EasyCleaner for quite a while too. In fact, I used it today. I think it is good to have, along with others, for maintaining our PCs...
