I am looking into buying a video converter that coverts video to flash. If anyone else has been there, please give me input. These companies all seem strange to me, never heard of them. The prices vary but I am looking at one now for $60. I may do this today but if anyone has input please share before I buy.

I am liking www.geovid.com/ the best so far. Some are more expensive and looks like I need to be carefull before I buy, so thought I'd run the idea in here first.

I need a video to flash converter for me new website. Any ideas?

Fishead, I've had no experience with what you're talking about so I can share anything but I did look around at what's out there and this sounds like it may be what you need and it's only $26

I have no experience with anything that converts video to flash. I wasn't aware that they had anything like that out there...

WOW!

Top Video to Flash works like a dream! I just installed the free version and it's easy as pie. The free version only converts half the movie. BUT IT WORKS GREAT!

Is that a second one for $26 or the same site? It looks like a different site. I think I came across that site but didn't see the $26, all I saw was 50-60 everywhere. That first site is like a beta program and well, heres what I get when I go for the download (no way to buy, only email)-

Two different sites but same program. The first one is older, the second one is dated January 2007. Not sure what you got Dave. Go to the second link

and scroll down to the blue download line, when you click it you're taken to anther page for the download. Worked fine for me. I may buy that program myself, it's really neat!

I can't get the flash to play on my computer. Where did you get the player?

It won't recognize the format, takes me to a site to get the right extention/players but when I install they disapear. I downloaded the macrao. flash, and one other from adobi but they disapear. I then tried downloading the other choice and it diaspears as well. Nothing opens these flash movies. I am frustrated again today, I thought yesterday was an ulcer day with that router.

I know I have the flash players because I can watch videos on the web, it just will not let me watch my own movies on my computer though. I don't know whats going on, maybe windows player locks everything out. Anyway I'm glad I didn;'t buy. Maybe thiose other ones that were more expensive come with a player I can use. Otherwise this is worthless.

Oh ys, when I went through help I had to download yet another player, same problem, won't play the movie. This DivX etec etc etc, three programs, no good, won't play the two flash types. Also when I choose a program from a list, (the other choice between adobi flash that windows takes me to) didn't do anything. Its like its stuck, no matter what I do that window pops up telling me windows doesn't recognioze the format.
