Ok. I'm about puzzled at this point. Perhaps there's another linux guru out there that can help me tackle this problem.

I'm tryin to get my Linux online. I'm using flavor Mandrake at the moment and i'm having a hard time getting it to activate my NIC.

I've got connection working with a PPPoE manager. but as for the NIC being activated or working correctly to complete the connection to the outside world isn't happening.

I've done a little reading and it seems there's something weird with Davicom NICs but i've followed a few different things to try and get it to properly use my NIC but to no success.

Any fresh ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.. I'm almost connected to the wild wild web but yet not quite there.

I guess there just aren't any Linux users or fans here, Kyzen5. As for me, I wouldn't know a Linux from a fried fish.

How is the weather in Utah? Today on TV I saw shots of some real devastating stuff happening there.
