When I try to add these programs to mu Scheduled Tasks List I get a window asking for my password.  I don't have a password.  Enclosed is the message window that I get when I try to schedule them.  Any reason why?

If you don't use a password to log into Windows, then you won't need one here either.  Just leave the password fields blank...

My Sceduled Tasks is not working correctly.  AdAware and Spybot S&D still will run automatically when I scheduled them to.

Do you leave your PC on all the time Bobby?  Can you launch these programs directly?  Ad-Aware 6 is terribly outdated.  Aren't you running Ad-Aware SE right now???

dontknow

I do leave my PC on all the time and can run AdAware manually.  I had AdAware SE in my "Downloads" folder but not installed.  It was the '04 version.  I was running an old AdAware for some unknown reason.   I now have D/L and installed AdAware SE Personal 1.06.  When I tried to scedule it to run in Scheduled Tasks I got the enclosed SS.  Don't know why.

I don't really know why you are getting the access denied either, Bobby, but could it maybe have something to do with your ZA settings?  Or do you have ZA or some other firewall that may be the problem.  I don't have mine scheduled to run or update auto so I don't  know if the settings would have to be different for that or not.  Maybe green check marks for Ad-Aware SE Personal?

Also check to make sure you have Task Scheduler enabled in Administrative Tools.

Bobby, are you adding the scheduled task through Windows' Task Scheduler, or through Ad-Aware and Spybot themselves? Both of those programs have a built-in scheduler, that automatically adds the task to Windows' Task Scheduler.

Yes I was usong the Windows Task Scheduler.  I have been unable to find a section in either AsAware or Spybot S & D where I can set the schedule for either.  Can you tell me where it is please?

I found this on Spybot S&D.  This is the only reference in either AdAware or Spybot S&D about scheduling an automatic run of these programs.
