At http://photo.tcworks.net/goodwinquads?page=1 is my niece Hope's web site for her children's photos. I tried moving all of them to a folder but had to use the slow drag and drop method with each one to accomplish this. I wanted to put them into a folder so that I could burn them to a CD for my sister-in-law. Each picture had to be clicked on and enlarged to have them come out normal sized on the CD. The method that I used was to create a folder on my desktop and open the web site containing the pictures. I then clicked on each picture to enlarge it, and clicked on it to bring up the menu. I then chose "copy" and minimized the web site album. Then I pasted each picture into the newly created folder. The album has 10 pages with 9 pictures on each page which came out to 85 pictures that had to be done this way. I couldn't think of a better, more efficient way. Can anybody suggest a less painful and less slow way to to this? Remember, each picture has to be enlarged before being copied to a CD or they will be very small on the resulting CD.
PS. Does anybody have any use for wasted CDs? Hurry up gas royalty money!! |

Well darn it! So much for seeing the pictures. Going to the site you linked to gives me this:
The album or photo that you were attempting to view either does not exist, or requires user privileges that you do not posess. Log in and try again.
Since I can read the site I don't know but might there be a FAQ section that may give some info on doing what you are talking about. Bobby, doesn't XP have a feature where you can right click the picture and choose Resize? Would that work on the thumbnails? And can you choose a larger size or only smaller? That could save you a few clicks if it works.
Also you don't have to "minimize the web site album", once you copy the picture just click on the folder in the task bar. The one you are placing the photo into. It should be "open". Then click the "web site album" in the task bar to go back.
About the offer of wasted CDs, I have plenty, thank you.
Hummmm, Nightrider, had we looked into this Gallery?

MAN THE WATER BY ALL MEANS!
Great pictures, Bobby. Off hand I can't see any way to transfer the pictures to your HDD in any quick and simple manner but the Gallery does have a forum where you might post your question. Never know, they may have the perfect solution.
