| I am still working on trying to find out how to copy my Funeral Home pics (called The Bear) to a DVD. When I click on 'My Computer" > "E" drive it shows that The Bear is stored there. In the first SS if I click on VTS_01 it plays the Funeral Home video with the pictures on it. I didn't think that the "E" drive could store data. When I click on my "D" drive it says "Please insert disk into D drive. This has me confused how The Bear could be on the "E" drive. But if it is there, which drive would I put a blank DVD-R in to to copy the contents of the "E" drive? |

| When I try to copy a SS to my post the result is as shown in my 2nd post on this subject. I go to "Browse" and click on it. It brings up a "Choose file" window. I put Screen Skot in the "look in " box, select my choice and click on Open, at the bottom. I then click on ImageShack Upload. When I get the URL I copy and paste it into my original post but don't get my SS there. Wat is the problem? |

You are copying they wrong links from ImageShack. Â The img tag that works here puts the link between a begin and ending img tag. Â It should look like this:
[img]http://img451.imageshack.us/img451/182/screenshot0013xq.jpg[/img]
instead of this:
[img=http://img451.imageshack.us/img451/182/screenshot0013xq.jpg]
The first link will display this:
The second link will always display this:
[img=http://img451.imageshack.us/img451/182/screenshot0013xq.jpg]

Bobby, I'm looking at your SS... it says Files Ready to Be Written to the CD ..... notice the little arrows pointing upward my pointer is pointing to, what happens if you click on those arrows? It may ask you for a CD. That file that you can play may be only in memory waiting to be written to a CD.

If I hover my mouse pointer over the little dbl arrows I get "These tasks apply to the files already on or about to be written to a CD:". If I actually click on them they just expand and contract the category. (see SS) I don't have a "C" Drive in my SendTo menu right now. Everything that I D/L goes to my "E" Drive. I D/L christmas pics tonight from my camera and they went to my "E" Drive . (see SS)
Forget about my SS. I was unable to upload them to my post. I clicked on browse, went to my SS file and selected my choice and clicked on open. I then clicked on ImageShack Upload ans was taken to the instruction page for ImaageShack explaining how ot upload images. |

Bobby, launch whatever program you used last when you tried to burn a CD or DVD. You weren't using Nero were you? See if it shows files ready to be burned.
Either burn them or delete them from the program if they are there.
You might try looking through all the settings in that program and see if anything there rings a bell. Something that might indicate that downloads are to be sent to the E drive? Sounds silly I know but something is causing your downloads to go to E:/
I'm assuming you are pointing the download to the C drive? but it still goes to the E:/ ......??

In my first attempt of 2006 to copy a DVD I have failed. I put my The Bear DVD in my "D" Drive and started the procedure to create a copy to a blank DVD as shown in the tutorial explaining how to do this. It started copying it to The Bear folder on my "C" Drive but stopped at he 6% mark. I then got the error message shown below in the SS. What does it mean?
Happy New Year !!! |
